Can you tell if a Bielefelder/buff Orpington mix is cockeral or pullet once hatched?

Can you tell if a Bielefelder/buff Orpington mix is cockeral or pullet once hatched?

If the cross is in the opposite direction (buff roo over biel dame) they would be sex linked by the barring with head spot on cockerels at hatch.. but not in the stated direction.
