Big Bawks in Maine

Hi hi all

I'm a new care taker of a small flock of road island reds. The birds are actually my mom's but I tend to do the research.

I do like our girls, but my kitty Salem thinks they are horrific murder burds, and my dog wants to be there new best friend.

We've got the girls out here in small town maine and are trying to be good minders

Salem is a big scaredy cat and at 20 I don't expect that to change. When we first brought them home he wouldn't go within 4 feet of the pen. Now he will atleast get close enough to see them but then all the chickens line up and stare him down

The dog ej is another matter he wants to play and ended up scaring them today so he needs more training
