I think his pattern would be what the chicken calculator calls incomplete lacing--just going off having the laced Momma. I think lacing is something like an incomplete dominant? I'm not positive, though, as I'm also seeing a Colombian type pattern, probably from dad's hidden genetics. He's probably got a combo of both.

I haven't a clue on chicken genetics, @donrae; I'm good at red bulls with red cows to get red calves lol, these breeds and TONS of feather patterns are just ridiculous

In this little guy, I have a bantam/standard cross, a purebred/hybrid cross, a fancy/non cross, a laced/non cross... Wow I have no idea lol...

A better pic of his feathers; the almost look REVERSE laced, and I was expecting some gold too but maybe it's the Columbian you're seeing... Big Bird was a spare from a batch from the feed store, so his genetics are completely unknown.

It's fun watching him grow up and change from yellow poof to, well, whatever he is now
