Cute I just bought me two more looks to be about 3 months old babys at a local auction for $40 ea. Hopfully they are a pair and won't fall in love with all the other aniamls of the farms like my others .

What kind of climate do these guys need? I've never heard of people having these types of birds where I live..

Healthy soil is full of microbes and tiny insects and fungal hyphae ... maybe the birds eat it because they can process the protein nutrition out of it?

I never considered emus to be cute animals, but that is one fine-looking bird. Lovely patterns.

Probably won't look as cute when he grows up, but I guess that applies to almost all animals.
