I agree fencing is super expensive,but it is worth it. I had a choice between fencing the yard or putting siding on the house.I chose the fencing,and it was even more expensive than siding.I love having a fence.I only wish my dh would have let me fence the front yard too!

I would just scare the dog off and make a note of its home if you can see it from your place.Ever since a dog attacked mine I no longer try to catch them and call the owner.

If the dog keeps coming back put some pepper where is keeps going.

We use airsoft guns around here. I just suggest making a loud noise, should scare the dog off. Like pots and pans or something?
