Big boy

My boy is 1 year old. He's a Brahma and is not small. He's picking on my girls, and today when I was working in the coop he charged me. Usually he just hits with his chest, but today he kinda spurred me. I think he's feeling his big boy pants. How do I correct him? I want to keep him as he protects the coop. But he needs manners.

How exactly does he protect the coop?

What good is he if he's harassing the hens he's supposed to be protecting?

If he's starting to attack you, chances are it'll get worse. Time for him to go.
