Big comb for tiny silkie chick?

Where did you get him/her? A few of my Silkies from TSC have pretty big single combs for being 2 week olds. I’m guessing that they were crossed with something other than a Silkie and/or it’s because they’re ‘hatchery quality’. The rest of mine have walnut combs.

I got my 2 from tsc too, they seem like normal silkies besides their combs

I have 8 white, six week old silkies from TSC. About 1/2 have walnut combs and 1/2 have single combs that look like yours. 2 have no feathering on the legs and they are all flighty. They seem big for their age. They were in the mixed bantam bin. The crests are also inconsistent. They are fluffy and cute though.

Mine have 5 toes, the black skin, and the feathered legs, just not walnut combs I guess
