Really hoping they all make it through! I’m so darn excited. 21 days feels so fast! Until lockdown.

The ultra rare potluck special eggs from Cackle was $90 flat (shipping included) for the 12. If all 5 of the Cackle eggs do hatch, I think I’ve saved money on what it would’ve cost to buy them as day olds, and with the satisfaction of us hatching them ourselves. Too exciting!

Keeping my fingers crossed these 5 eggs indeed hatch and "Cackle"!!

One certainly should, at least! Hubby is still team “we cannot let that procreate” for the Ketawa. Of course I’m team “let’s see how many laughing chickens we can have on our homestead.” So clearly the compromise is having at least some.

Hahaha yes! It must happen. I think it’s so unique and fun! His thought is still “I do NOT want to be chased by a chicken that is laughing about it.” I’ll name one Giggles, one Chuckles, one Cackle… I’ve got a whole list of names I can go to!

Oh gosh, the names you could come up with are endless! Chickening wouldn't get any more fun than keeping a coop full of laughing chickens!
