Big Emergency, Graphic help please...

The hen is still alive. I am not sure how long I should be keeping her inside and watching her. She is moving around and eating and seems pretty normal. I do not know if there is still a risk that she will get an infection or something.
Well, how does her vent look? You want her to be strong and that vent to look very normal at least from the viewpoint of her flock mates. (Meaning no redness or swelling).
Is your climate nice enough to let her have a little outdoor time tomorrow (look -don’t touch) just so she can stretch her legs a bit and she and her flock mates can say sort of wave and say hello to each other?

Her vent looks alright to me. Tomorrow it with be in the mid 40s. Fahrenheit.

Well since she’s been indoors for some time, probably at least 65 degrees F or warmer, I might wait until you see a couple of “warm” days in a row forecasted rather than subject her to a twenty degree drop in one day.

It is very hard to reintroduce a chicken who has been separated for a long period of time. She will need to be placed outside separately in a crate or in her own area where she won’t be pecked or hurt. Eventually, you will want to have some supervised visits out in the chicken yard where you can rescue her.

I am doing that right now with a hen on one side of my yard fence with a small opening that she slips through to get back to the other chickens. I feed her on my side and she spends time pecking and grazing, then she goes back to her flock. They make her stay in that corner, and occasional come over and give her a peck to make sure that she stays there. It can be frustrating.
