My barn is huge but separated in three spaces is this area big enough for 21 chickens ? My yard is fenced in has a small run for when I’m not home but let them free roam most the time outside the run I currently have 16 but my friend wants to part with 9 bc she’s down sizing

Do you know the exact square footage? It looks good to me... I think it’s 4sq ft per bird? The only thing I would say is to add more roosts, and add a temporary separation system so you can integrate them properly.

A) what is this “down sizing” you speak of? I’m pretty sure that is not how chicken math works....😆
B) what are the dimensions of the areas?
Idk lol it’s hard for me to wrap my head around downsizing my husband hates me 😂 but I’m not sure if the demensions id say ab 20’ by 30’ not 100 percent tho

Love your rooster he’s a beauty 😍
Thanks, unfortunately he lost his comb tips due to frostbite so he is a little less majestic now, and just the other day he decided to chase my cousin’s kid...so his days may be numbered if he continues that behavior.
