Is the one at Walmart nice quality? I don't want to waste my money on a cheap door that will work for only a few months...My husband installed an automatic door that opens in the morning at the time you set (sunrise) and closes about an hour after sunset. You really can't predict what time the birds will go to bed. Especially during daylight savings. I have lost so many chickens over the years this helps me sleep better at night and I don't have to let them out in the morning and tuck them in at night.
Walmart has a battery operated one for $35.
