This was the situation as I was leaving home this morning.

Yeh, they're on the table! I put some food and water outside their room in case they end up on the wrong side of the doorway.

Blossom was licking up a treat as I shut her into the spare bedroom.

Just in case anyone thinks I put them on the table, no. They flew to the table from the top of their cage.

I was pleased to find chicks within their room when I got home and I'm already forgiven for having shut Blossom into the spare room.

So glad it worked out and everyone is happy.

Flying is an essential skill for the young ones. They need to be able to avoid the mean older ladies.

The little ones are moving out tonight! Their outside house is all fresh n clean. It includes the little coop and I've put a run around it to keep the big hens out until the little ones are ready. So that whole corner is now the kindergarten.
