What breed of chicken has the largest hens? What breed has the largest BIG brown eggs?

I think jersey giant is largest hen. But not largest egg. Hen can be 13 lbs. there me larger but that’s the largest I know. I’m interested to hear replies for largest egg. I don’t know but I know my RIR’s lay some whoppers!

Either Brahmas or Jersey Giants are the biggest hens
But biggest eggs i'm not too sure. Leghorns, RIR's, jersey giants, and Brahmas all lay very big eggs! (although Leghorn is a small size they have been known to lay big white eggs)

I think something might’ve been wrong with my jersey giants. I kept trying to figure out who was laying the tiny fairy Egg and my flock after months it was still teeny tiny and then found out it was my jersey giant

I just llaughed it at the irony of it. Lol. My friend also has to Jersey Giants and they don’t have teeny tiny eggs. I think my girl was just ....ummm.... special

In my experiences big hens lay tiny eggs and scrawny Mediterranean type breeds lay big eggs.
