I checked out the Recipe you posted.. Thanks for the dough recipe! I would love to make my pizza at home!

I used to work in several pizza joints.. I won a who makes the most beautiful crust slap-off.. LOL! I posted an in-depth litany on slapping out pizza and perfection tips for a friend on here just a few days ago.. but unfortunately it was lost with the thread. I'll have to prod my brain and do a re-write of it! My problems with home-made pizza from store-bought dough balls in the past is that they always over-proof the dough and mess up the shape!

My perfect looking pizza crust requires a perfect dough ball. Smoothly rounded on top, slightly under-proofed, and still cold... those things truy help in slapping out a perfect pizza.. no rolly-pins for me! So I do appreciate your recipe and maybe one of these days I can turn out my own perfect ball of dough!

Only... What can I use to pour it so it is perfectly round on top? Hmmmm.... Will take some thinking!

I also have to find some cornmeal or someting else very grainy to work it in... flour just doesent cut it for slipping about.

Rub a little oil (EVO works best) on top of your dough and then use YOUR HANDS to shape it into the perfect ball to rest.
And my secret is to use half all purpose flour half Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix to roll the dough out onto - you get that pizza parlor thing going on the crust with it.

Nothing like a pizza you made yourself...
