They are so cute. ...and when they are old enough to start doing the baby rodent 'explosions', you will NEVER get anything done. stock up on tv dinners now.

The peanut died yesterday and a runt died today.
I knew the peanut wouldnt make it(they never do),but I though the runt was doing fine,but guess not.
Over all Patches is doing a great job, the rest of the babies all look plump and well fed.
Theres a few big ones,but for the most part,they are about the same size.

I had pet mice when I was a kid, but they were pets. What is a Peanut? I know nothing of Mice Breeding or genetics or anything.

A peanut is a very small underdeveloped baby. They are even smaller then a runt.
They are common in large litters.
