The Marek’s vaccine they use is actually Turkey Marek’s. It does not prevent them from getting Chicken Marek’s but it stops the lesions from growing that causes the damage.
The medicated feed medicated with Amprolium has absolutely nothing to do with Marek’s. It’s targeting the protozoa that cause Coccidiosis. Antibiotics won’t either because Marek’s is caused by a virus and antibiotics do not work on viruses.
Medicated feed will have absolutely no effect on the Marek’s vaccine.
