Thanks for all the help. I really appriciate it. I normally feed mine just the meat crumbles and I will watch a lot more carefully about it getting wet. I just wish I knew what happened. A friend said there were a lot of coytes around lately but I've never seen any around my place. At least not since my mustang killed a some a couple years ago. It could have been anything and I guess I'll never know. However I will be a lot more careful with Ludwig and any ducks I may get in the future. Thanks a lot!!
