Been a slow go working solo by in large, but she's getting there.

Pretty sure I never want to deal with this much hardware cloth ever again. However each little section gets easier as I learn.

On the couch. Tired. Tired and bloody.

The footers are going to be a real PITA.

8-12 inches of cloth underground. Going to need to buy a shit pile of trim boards here soon. Guess that's yet another $500. I bet a contractor would have wanted an even more ungodly amount for it though Tom that was are the top 10 top 10 move

It looks really good! Like you, I stapled my hardware cloth and then covered those free edges with trim. I used very little pressure treated wood in the coop/run, but since the trim is on the outside of the run, I did buy PT wood. I bought the “dog eared PT fence pickets” from Lowe’s. The dog ear part is a bit odd but I don’t really notice it. They are about the cheapest wood that there is. I put a screw near each end and called it good. Still looks great 1.5 years later. I did use screws/washers every 6” at some areas, but screwing a piece of wood over the edges was much less time consuming. I was ready to be done by then!
