Big red rooster

hi,well I’m new to chickens but I do have ducks 10 little monsters and I recently inherited 1 rooster and 2 hens from my aging neighbor.I am amazed how smart the chickens are they actually listen to me I tell them to go in there house and just like my ducks they stop what there doing and go in there house.The rooster Big Red is very protective of the two hens,and one hen Reberta goes after my ducks she keeps them in line saw her pecking one of my ducks they are terrified of her LOL.And Big Red cry’s when the ducks go out to the river in the morning he stands at the fence screaming till they come home then he is fine.Glad I have these chickens they are very interesting to interact with.I think they are Rohde Island reds he is a beautiful rooster

My first rooster 'Big Red' was a RIR. He despised all of mankind except me. Going by the size of his spurs your bird is a senior citizen.

Ya he has 3inch spurs and stands about 20/22 inches tall
