A mysterious little red hen decided to adopt our family (a very cute true story)

Last Monday when I went to feed my ducks breakfast like usual, I was very surprised to find a petite little red hen in there chilling with my ducks. I thought maybe she was a surprise from my boyfriend, but he said no and sounded as surprised as I was.

How this adorable little chicken found us is a mystery, but wherever she came from she must have seen my ducks and thought 'These guys have it good, I want in!' and hopped into the fence 🥰🐔.

And so I was adoped by a little red hen. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? 😊
Happened to me several times in New Orleans. There were always feral or unhomed chickens around, especially after Katrina. Before meeting my current wife, I had a GF who ended up with a large flock that all just moved in one by one, that included two ducks and a goose. She also had two big snakes, a possum, a big white rat, and a rabbit. Oh, and a parrot, a cockatoo, and two parakeets. But mostly, chickens. The only animal that wasn't given to her or just moved in on its own was the big white rat.
