My coop is infested with bugs that look a little like some kind of roach or beetle. I s this what they call chicken bugs? how can I get rid of them without harming the chickens? I also have young chicks in there. They are even in my feed that is outside the coop. in a brand new bag.

Photos would help. "Chicken bugs" are generally a mite/lice type - very small. It could be some sort of roach - look up wood roach and see if it matches. Possibly earwigs is they're a huge infestation.

Have you tried sprinkling a dash of DE around your coop? A picture would help us know what you're up against, and the age of your chicks.
