After trying to get some larger SQ silkies into cages at the PNPA show this past weekend for a friend (mine were younger and not as large), I can certainly say that they were large enough to make getting them in the door of a bantam cage a little tricky.
Not to mention, I know a couple of the cocks were over 3lbs.
My point being, larger, true to standard/breed type, silkies are in existence.
