Big & Small Peking Ducklings Together

[4 Little Ducklings]

We have a 3 week old duckling and 3 new ones coming next week. Should I be concerned to put the 1 day old ducklings with the 4 week old one in the same box? The brooder box we have them in is 44" x 22". Not sure if Luna will act like a momma duck or stomp all over them with her big feet. thank you

I'd try to separate the pen so she can see the newbies but not physically touch them for a few days at least just to see how she feels about them. You already know the new guys are gonna get big fast, and at 4 weeks her growing is still happening but not as rapidly as the first 4 weeks, so they wont be at a major size discrepancy for too long. Even if shes not aggressive with them I'd just worry about her being bigger, ducks are so clumsy.
