Bigger silkie project

My silkie girls are with a couple of meran boys. Since the eggs will be smaller should I only expect small chickens the first round or might I get a mixture of sizes despite egg size? This is my breeding project to make bigger silkies since I cannot get full size silkies anywhere.

Hello, I have a Giant Silkie project that's going on. Would you like to follow along with it? It'll help you out with your's. My project is currently on pause until spring.

Nice to see another person wants big/giant silkies.

I do have a large silkie rooster, he's the size of a regular standard chicken, he's the main breeder for the project, but I also need another like him.

I'm not looking for giant but at least standard size chicken size. I've bought them before but no longer live in the same state as that person.

I like silkie meat (sorry not sorry lol) and bantam silkies are just too small

Sure I was really curious about size of babies. Right now they just got put in with the boys and they are Maran mixes. We hatch all winter as long as the girls keep laying, no extra lights.

Are you concerned about the weight difference between your large fowl roosters with bantam silkie hens?
I'd actually reverse the order, with silkie rooster with large hens.
