Bigger than usual pullet?

This is my 3 month old golden sexlink Peeper Symone’ She’s bigger then a few of the full grown hens around here. Do sex links grow larger than other breeds?

A golden sex link is a cross between two chickens that give you down of a color that you can tell the sex at hatch. They could be bantam and tiny. They can be from Brahmas or other really big chickens.

Grow hens of other breeds come in many sizes. It is quite possible that an immature sex link can be bigger than some grown hens. It depends how big the grown hen is and who the parents of the sex link are.

When you read some posts on here you get the idea that sex links have some magical mystical supernatural powers. They don't, they are just chickens that take on the characteristics of their parents but have some color genetics lined up a certain way.

I have some big ones and some what you would think as normal size and a small one they all lay lots of big eggs though so I guess they do vary quite a bit.
