On a girl anyways. lol

This one girl of mine has just the biggest comb, for a while when she was younger I thought she would be a roo because of the size. And comparing it to her sisters, well yeah! In the back of the picture you can see one of her sisters.
Anyone else have a hen with an amazingly large comb?

Wow, she DOES have a big comb! What breed is she? Is she a Blue Orpington? I have a 10 week old BCM that I was positive was a pullet, but now, I am doubting myself. She is a HUGE baby, even bigger than my other pullet and the cockerel, both also BCM's, and her comb is bigger than the roo's! But she doesn't have any hackle or sickle feathers coming in, and she doesn't do the chest bumping or display any other noticeable roo behavior. So I have no idea. At this point I figure, I'm only a few weeks away from when they'll start crowing, so if it crow's, I guess I'll know! But I am really hoping it's a pullet!!!

But you are right that my Andalusians have larger combs than my other hens. Just that hers is unusually large to me. Some of my roos aren't that big! lol

Thank you.

Two of them seem to be "special". She has the big comb and one of her sisters has a darker splash across her shoulder. Very interesting.
