An Araucana is a breed without a tail, and has ear tufts, and lays blue/green eggs.

An Ameraucana has a tail, a beard and lays blue eggs.

An Easter Egger is either a non-standard Ameraucana (according to the governing chicken association bodies), or an Ameraucana mix, depending on who you talk to.

They can lay blue, green, pink or brown eggs, depending on what genes they have inherited.

There have been many discussions on this forum about this very question. This is just the short analysis!
