Thanks you guys. Its tough sending men out on either side of the family. My brother is retired now, well techincally he's on reserve for like 2 years or something but officially he is retired. DH has 2 brothers who are Marines...havent heard anything about the other one getting deployed, doubt he will be. THank goodness for the perfected methods of communication that they have for us now when our family is overseas!

Thank you for sharing the sweet picture. Thank you and your husband for his service to our country. There are probably plenty of us who have loved ones in the service of our county. It would be nice to have just one thread that we could all subscribe to and support each other with. Or is there already such a thread?

It is my belief that none of us on the planet would be as safe as we are now if it weren't for the United States. So thank you from this Canadian and my best wishes for his safe return.
