If it is only the tip of your duck's bill then I'd say that it will heal up quite quickly. Just keep their drinking water as clean as possible - change it a couple of times a day if you can.

Duck bills are incredibly sensitive, with a massive system of nerves and blood vessels. The fact that there are so many nerves means that it probably hurts. But because there are so many blood vessels it will heal relatively quickly.

Just tolt everone know, the beak looks really good now. Just the tip looks a little darker in colour but she is doing everything as normal. eating, drinking etc. A good outcome after so much worry.
