BIN- Mottled bantam Cochin 6+ eggs

From breeding pens of blue Mottled and black Mottled, 6 plus any extra eggs they lay before closing up the box. The photos of these birds speak for themselves.​

The pen of Rascal, my 3 year old Mottled roo is over 2 blue Mottled hens and 2 black Mottled hens. Rascal gives me blue Mottleds from his breeding pen. One of his girls is my avatar.​

Grant's pen has been giving me super typy offspring from Cleopatra and 2 of her daughters out of Rascal.​

At this time Tonka's pen is not laying.​

These birds are sweet, easy to care for and live outside in tractors. They are moved to fresh grass and ground every few days and are not coddled but can be cuddled. They make good yard pets and enjoy human companionship. I highly recommend these birds for 4H kids!​

I ship out in a USPS Priority box with each egg wrapped in bubble wrap and the box is lined with more bubble wrap for the safest trip possible. I have no control over what the PO does with the boxes but do mark them Fragile. I have no control how the eggs are incubated but have trimmed rear ends again recently and get great hatches here.​

How does one get a blue suede? That color is TO DIE FOR.

She is in the breeding pen, as well as the girl in my avatar, with Rascal. He is a black Mottled roo but carries the blue and from this pen I have gotten many blue Mottled chicks in both the very light and the more dark blue shades. So have others that have purchased eggs from me and shown me photos.
However, I also have 2 black Mottled hens in there so black Mottled chicks pop out as well. Yesterday I had 2 hatch from Rascal's pen, one blue Mottled and one black Mottled. I was not disappointed. I have several blue Motties growing up right now from this breeding pen and am excited to see how they mature out by next spring.

I may take this ad down soon as I have gotten bombarded with orders again and have dates filled for wanting eggs. These birds are awesome!

Will you be selling eggs in the spring as well? I have six of your eggs due to hatch on the 27th and that will probably be my last chicks of the year here in Michigan, but I am hoping to get some Easter chickies from you!

I surely hope!
If all goings according to plans then I will be adding a Grant son with some hens from Tonka and Rascal. It just depends if I show him and his sisters or not. I much prefer to keep my birds at home and let them be chickens rather than drag them around to shows but if my friends want me to go to shows with them then I may put in my fine offspring.

My two Tonka eggs did not start developing, so I would really love to get some from him next time. I did want to let you know that the two from his pen seemed very thin-shelled compared to the robust shells on the rest. Not sure if molting causes thinner shells, or maybe those hens are naughty about not eating their oyster shells? All eggs did make it safely and were packed very well though. My kids had fun with the big sheets of bubble wrap!

Probably due to molting. I haven't gotten an egg from that pen in a while now though there is oyster shell in there, they have no desire for it. Every few days I move their pen and then later get a scare when I see all the feathers laying on the ground. It takes me a few minutes to remember that most everyone is molting.

I would think the girls would be laying next spring when you are ready for eggs again.
