Bird Gravel

I have half a box of Bird Gravel that says it's for Canaries and Finches.
Can I use this for my three week old chicky babies?
(Until I can get something better - if there's anything better)

Welcome! You can use it, although it's not needed if they are eating chick starter only. Mary

Right now they are eating medicated chicken starter.
Is there gravel already in there?

No there is not gravel in the medicated chick starter. The Canary grit that you have may have calcium in it, but IMO short term use won't be much of an issue. I'm sure there will be lots of folks who disagree with me.

So then what do I do about giving them gravel?

If they are eating only chick starter, they digest it fine without grit. If you are feeding treats or grains, then they need grit, which is not the same as oyster shell. Grit doesn't dissolve and add calcium like oyster shell does. Mary
