Bird Netting over Run

What product did you purchase? I order some netting but I think I am going to send it back. It was so flimsy and the thread was so so thin almost like thread I would use to do mend my clothes. I wondering if there are thicker threads out there? Better products?

I've been using bird netting over my chicken run for about 4 yrs, and I have been pleased with it. It has held up to ice, snow, small branches falling on it, small trees growing through it, our cat walking on it, etc...
when there are any tears I 'sew' it up with zip ties. I have it stretched to cover up to 25' expanses with no problems.
here it is coated in ice and sagging:

Here is one of our kitties walking on it:

The netting many of us use is this one: https://pinnonhatch.com/Poultry-Sup...tting-and-Fencing/Poultry-Protection-Netting/ , specifically the 2" heavy knotted (big enough to let some snow fall through, tough enough for aerial predators to bounce off of). There's similar products from other companies, but mainly you want to look for something that's UV protected for durability, with break/burst weights listed.
