Hey everyone, it might be kinda obvious... but I'm a newbie. I've been involved with chickens for about 5-6 months now and ducks and turkeys for 1 month. I'm superexcited to learn all you guys have to offer me. And maybe one day I can do the same for a beginner.[IMG] We have all together right now 12 chickens of different breeds (buff orbs, Rhode Island reds, 2 polish crested, and what I belive to be a cochin and 1 ostelorp rooster. As for ducks, we have 6 beautiful Pekins. I want to thank you for welcoming me into this awesome circle of knowledgeable people.

Welcome to Backyard chickens. Mama duck looks so serene. What breed is she? She doesn't look like a Pekin.

Drumstick diva, she is a wild muscovy that decided to lay her eggs on top of our hay bails a while ago. She actually left with all of them this morning and abandoned a hatchling and an egg. So I'm trying to take care of them now[IMG]
