Bird processing

I live in Ashland NE, and I'm looking for a processor who will process both chickens and ducks for me. -We're talking 20 chickens and 10 ducks. Any ideas?

Hmmmm.

30 birds in an hour and 10 of those are ducks. That would be 2 min a piece...

I know it would take me a lot longer than that. Even set up fairly well with electric plucker and propane scalder.

For someone newer to processing 10 min a bird would be good going and if they were hand plucking it might take longer yet. 30 birds x 10 min a bird is 300 min or 5 hours. Just to keep it real, add in some time for set up, clean up, washing, bagging a few breaks and it is more likely close to a days work for one person or half a day if you have to semi-skilled help.
