Nightwhisper felt a hunger pang in her stomach, reminding her of the only one vole she ate last night. Barred Owls hunt just as readily during the day as during the night and Nightwhisper was going to take full advantage of the oppourtunity. The pain in her wing had settled down, so Nightwhisper walked around, listening and watching carefully for prey. She also watched behind her, incase the eagle Phoenix attacked again.

Summer and Shadow followed the Kagu up into the tree, stuffed full of berries.
"That's good eatin'!" Shadow exclaimed and settled onto a branch to digest.
Summer started to preen herself, zipping up all her feathers.

Speckles flew off from the owls and found the one owl hobbling "Hello, what happened to your wing?"

Seriema felt a calmness next to Shadow, but she had become annoyed by summer, how fast she talked, how she wouldnt settle down, shadow seemed more calm. "So where did you guys come from?"
