BlueMan, not for the first time, wished he were a bigger bird. But, his size and agaility had advantages too. At least the bigger bard would be pressed to catch him in the trees.

He looked at Phoenix and screeched. "Who are you? Why did you attack me?"

she turned and gripped him in her talons again, squeezing him half wishing his eyes would bulge out "Every animal has to eat" she said in a sly voice, hopping up on 1 leg not showing her broken wing knowing she wont be able to attack and animals would attack her "and know i will" she said happily not seeing the descending Sand Grouse

This bird is freaking mental, he thought, while screaming his loud loud warning hysterically. If he must die, let him save the others, and not keep silent.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! The noise so hurt Phoenix ears, that she seriously considered eating him on the spot, but she could appreciate his courage, and wonder about him.

When Phoenix relaxed her grip slightly, her wing pained her a great deal, BlueMan dashed off, and stayed hidden this time. No more mucking about with strange birds.

He noticed the quiet of the woods. His warning had everyone in earshot warned off.

Good, though BlueMan. He hid away, and watched quietly for once.
