I got a catalog in the mail for one of those school sponsor things for my niece. This one is all magazine subscriptions and my MIL was going to order one and I'm not sure if my mom was going to order anything so I thought I might order the other item. She needs 2 to get a free 3D Scooby-Doo shirt. They have the magazines Bird Talk and Reptiles. I love reptiles but probably won't own anymore due to it being hard to find the crickets and food in this area. I might buy a bird later on in the future. I've never had either magazine nor have looked through either one. I do love looking at really good photos of the animals for drawing material. Which one would be better to order?

I used to get both magazines and I liked the Reptiles Magazine better plus if you are using it to draw I think it will have better pics. If you can't find crickets local you can order them in bulk online when I bred chameleons I did and kept them in the laundry room

or look into one of the easily bred tropical cockroaches.

I use to order crickets only for $7 for a 100 with free shipping but during the winter most died cause the mail man put them in the regular mail box even though it said live crickets on the container. I was hoping they would of had a chicken magazine but they didn't.

I actually am amused by the large hissing cockroaches. Just kind of different to look at. BTW

Get the reptile magazine. Since bird talk bought out bird breeder magazine years ago I haven't seen a worthwhile or completely correct article in Bird Talk.
