I have lots of woodpeckers. Downy ,hairy, red bellied, flickers, and this spring I've started seeing the red headed woodpecker. That's a new one for me! That was exciting. I read online that they are on the watch list for declining numbers.

Awh I've never got to see a pileated! Loved woody woodpecker as a kid though lolWe get downy, hairy and red belied woodpeckers as well as the occasional flicker at the suet feeders. The pileated are too big to eat at them.
