Thinking of making my run 8x10 or 8x12, will that be big enough for 6 chickens? Also will it hurt to use a treated board on the top and bottom of the run to nail the fence to? Can I paint the garage siding with latex exterior paint without hurting the chickens?

Latest pic of them in the garage coop, hope to have the run finished this week.

Had to put a removable board at the end of the coop to keep them in when the door is open.

Outside run is almost done, need to build gate and open the door and a ramp. Going to paint the exposed wood and run pavers around the outside perimiter.
