I'm considering joining, and have some questions for you, Dapplepony...

-What are your limits for powers? I imagine there is a limit of some sort, like when the powers are on the verge of being 'magical' or otherwise impossible, but some examples of what is and is not tolerable would be nice, if you can. c:

-Does the character have to be a Birdkid? Can we have Erasers, Super-erasers, or characters with other, non-avian traits of the like? So far I see characters with gills, so it seems like it'd make sense. I'm not trying to bend the rules or anything, just wondering what I can and cannot do as far as character traits.

-You say 'pick up a book and start reading' if we haven't read the book... but is it still okay if I join even though I haven't? Or is it mandatory that I read the series before joining? I know about the Erasers and main characters only because I read vaguely about the series on Wikipedia.
