Lilli tucked her wings in on her back and sat quietly on a thick oak bough. She tugged at the knitted scarf around her neck that matched her fingerless gloves and hat, (

) and watched the autumn leaves sway in the wind. She ran her fingers down the rough bark of the branch and began to feel comforted by the familiar, homey surroundings that soothed her avian instincts.
