Birds and hens?

I have a question; so please do not jump on me if I am completely wrong. My wife has always loved and had hens, chickens as a young girl growing up on a Farm/Ranch. I am very much a city kid but do enjoy and like the Peacocks. Can you mix hens and peacocks? I do not know and if so, I have more questions on the same subject about feed and housing of both. I have always liked and enjoy the Peacocks for their beautifully and wonderful rich colors. My wife is talking about 20 to 30 hens. How many Rosters would I need to get eggs? But first I need to know if I can mix them.

Don't know about peacocks but you don't need any roosters to get eggs. You only need jroosters if you want to breed chickens as well as get the eggs.I have 18 hens and one rooster he still is pretty rough on some of the girls If I had my way we wouldnt have any roosters but DH likes them By the way Welcome Micki
