Birds Dying and I'm Not Sure Why

I was under the same impression, unless I see them, don't worm. But when you SEE them, it's usually a HUGE infestation that had taken over. So, I woudl say, yes, please worm them.
 
Usually the first two things to do when you don't know what to do are worm them and check them for lice or mites. After you have done that then observe. Watch them closely for any odd behavior. Being off food. Not moving around much. Not eating. Check the poo. Illness in chickens is so much a putting the pieces together thing. Have any others had any odd breathing sounds? There don't seem to be a lot of things that chickens eat that they shouldn't but moldy feed or moldy goodies from compost piles seem to be the biggest exception. Try these things and let us know what you find. Good luck!
