i adopted May from Buffalo SPCA. She was a rescue hen. The lady thought maybe she was born that way, but a lot us think she may have been debeaked. Either way, she is happy, healthy and spoiled. She has not lain any more eggs for me in the last few months. She only left me that one tiny egg. I think she is probably to old. thats fine with me too. She can live out the rest of her life fat and happy.

Great photos! What a patient hen! I had to haul one of mine into the tub, and she was not a happy hen.

But you have the perfect tub to wash her up in -- I'm envious.

Great story! I lvoe the pictures too. What a sweet hen. I gave my first bath the other day, and it worked out pretty well. My hen only needed her butt washed, so I didn't have to get her as wet.
