Layla swooped through the sky. She dipped and flew back. She was Queen of the skies. The largest bird in the territory. She let out a piercing cry and dived. The thrill of free falling, the rushing wind in her feathers. Just before hitting the ground she opened her wings and flew back up.

Swift perched watching her dull tree bare territory. A rotting carcass of a rabbit below her. She watch two other vultures snapping at each other. A breeze blew at her carrying the scent of fresh meat farther out in the territory. She called for the others to come.
 
She pressed her wings against her side's and dived into the water grasping a fish in her talons as she raced to the suface
