Birdseye maple and cherry....(pics)

If Judy and I were to come for a visit.....I doubt we'd have any time left to work, we'd be all talked out.

.....speaking of Judy, I made this "memory box" for her. It is mainly Ash and Walnut, but the laminated top also has Birdseye maple and cherry in it. She decided to let me have it to keep my bible inside. Apparently she didn't have any memories to keep hidden in a box.

Wow doesn't even cover the emotion behind seeing these works of art. I will be showing my Mother (she does wood crafting) later on, this is awsome work Steve, just incredible! Thank you so much for sharing your talent!

This one isn't Birdseye and cherry, it is Oak.

I built this crib for my grandson, it is one of those transition beds, that goes from crib, to small bed and then a regular twin size bed when the two short panels are removed and just the headboard and footboard are used.

You can just see his little hand poking up above the rails.

Well they don't always turn out so good. This isn't woodworking per se, but it was another of my projects. Just goes to show I am not always lucky.

We were building this 40 x 64 pole barn when it got hit with a monstrous wind. Snapped all the braces right off and it nearly went down.

It took some extra work to get it all back up and straight, but here it is just before siding it.

I always wondered how that pole barn went. I remember the pic of it getting blown down. Looks like it turned out good in the end.

I have about a half acre pasture that needs a barn like that right over the top of it. (Room for more chickens).

And some others:

My basement bar.
