How did you get that birds eye to shine like that? Is it hand scraped?

I've always wished I could make things like that. I took a woodworking class in college, that's about as far as I got. Something about my "awwww, close enough" motto that doesn't lend itself well to finish work!

Steve........just so happens that we're having an addition built right now to house a pool table and BAR for dh. I showed your bar to the builder and we will be duplicating it.....hope you don't mind......oh and we are doing the whole room in Knotty Pine......and also an additional sun room off of that. All Knotty Pine.

If it's ok I will post pics on here when it's finished........probably two weeks. Should be interesting.

The bar top is finished in a 2 part epoxy, your builder should know what it is. If not, ask me at that point and I will get the info for you. It is extremely hard, durable and shiny......stands up to spilt liquids real well.
