Quote: I have been letting them fly for about 2 weeks and they have been returning. I was just releasing them at home, homesetting. Then on Sunday when I let them loose, they were zipping around 4 of them. After a while they went into a tree and rested. Then more flying and 2 went in while the other 2 were cruising around, and clear out of sight not to return. Those were the 2 young ones. About 6 weeks now. AND GUESS WHAT ARRIVED TODAY ?????? Yes, after 2 days MIA . 1 returned. I is heppi heppi heppi. ( That line is from Duck Dynasty.) Have more good news. Ofsprings 2 are 2 weeks old , and 2 are 2 days old. looks like a lot of 2"s here. =D=D=D
I did try the entice trick. I also noticed that the PAPA pigeon of these 2 was really making an effort to find them. Kind of a tear jerk scenario.![]()
I am still hoping for the other one to return. They do experience that the pantry at home coop is a lot better stocked than the great wild. LOL LOL
