Daffodil: Yup. I was underneath the deck, she emptied the bird bath from on top of the deck, AND I GOT WET!
Pebble: *Tries to stiffle giggles*
Daffodil: *Glares at everybody in sight*
Dandelion: ANYWAY to change topic...Boss, were you at snaps house?!?!

Snap: Well, Mommy just ratted me out. See, she can smell me if I've been drinking from the tub. It's not my usual aura.
Bisquick: WE GOT A CHEESE STICK!!!

Buttermilk: Uh! I can't believe you jumped on me!

Snap: And then you ran off with the cheese stick, Bisquick.
Bisquick: HAHA! Oh yea!!

Pippy: They do this a lot. Ya know, relive the funny scenes.
Hazel: Our two aunts, and a couple of Mommy's friends came over and saw us this morning because they had a coopover.
Hedwig: It was Mommy's birthday party!
Omelette: Too bad we were grounded, it sounded like the big girls had a good time.

Elanor: Boy, the wind's sure kicking up!
Marianne: Whoa! That board just fell off the side of the run.
Margaret: It's so windy... Let's go inside...Willoughby, where ya going?
Willoughby: I'm going to see if I fit through that hole left by that board!
Elanor: NOt a good idea!
Willoughby: Look! I fit! I'm out free-ranging!
Margaret: Come back here
Willoughby: In a sec! I just want to see what's out here!
Elanor: SAL! SOPHIE!!! COME QUICK!!
Marianne: they're both dustbathing under the porch! They can't hear us!
Suddenly, the wind REALLY kicks up. The trees rock back and forth, some of them creaking with every movement. Back under the porch...
Sophie: Ugh! The wind's awful! let's head back!
Sal: good Idea!
Sophie: Man, this wind's so bad I can hardly walk!
Sal: Wait! do you hear that?
Sophie: The chicks are calling us!
Sophia and Sal run back to the coop just in time for the wind to pick up speed even more and for Whilloghby to fly through the air, carried by the wind. Sophia jumps up just in time to catch him, and the wind dies down.

Me: I know I haven't posted for awhile, but, well...
Captain Flint: The Food People are talking of getting rid of me! :'(
Gertie: Whenever he has a chance, he'll pull out my feathers!
Princess: But other than that he's such a nice rooster!
Gertie: Well, I don't experience much of his "niceness"..
Me: I don't want to get rid of him, but, we have to keep Gertie constantly away from him (which makes especially free ranging difficult) or else... plucked feathers. So, we don't really know what to do...

Hey guys. So, I was supposed to get a call from the feed store this week telling us to come pick up the chicks, but we didn't until recently. The person took the chicks home for me to reserve them, and they had a predator problem. All three if my chicks were killed. Now I am getting more on May 11th, 2 SS, 2 BO, and 2 EE. 1 SS 1 BO and both EEs will be foster chicks, but I will still name them! Fluffballs, I'm sorry about Captain Flint!

Louise: Hehe...Mom got so fed up with the teachers at Silver Chunk that we are NEVER going back!
Midge: And she found a co op with art! We go every week on Wednesday.
Henny: Mom is going to name one of the EEs Adalynn. She doesn't know about the others though.
Akira: I will get to raise the chicks!
Audrey: Mom is getting Midge and me chicken saddles!

Fluffballs, you could get a chicken saddle. That's what I'm doing for my EEs because Louise pecks them to the point if blood.

Henny: We used to use blu kote and hot sauce until someone...*coughcough* Louise *coughcough* decided she liked the taste!
Akira: Well, we're only keeping one speckled Sussex and one BO. The BO will still be Guinevere, and not sure about the SS. The EEs will be Adalynn and Cora!
Louise: The teachers weren't really teaching us well and they usually arrived a couple hours late to classes. They were really mean.
Penny: But now we go to River Side Poultry Co-op! There's a duck there named Lucy!
