Dandelion: Mommy is leaving soon!
Darcy: *fluffs* Good riddance I say.
Daisy: *makes face at Darcy* He doesn't like mommy! He attacked her.

Me: Well it looks like that in Princess we have the second "Big Stink" on our hands. Derperella fans might know what I mean. Princess' rear end feathers get too long, so when she poops it lands on them and makes quite a mess... Sigh...

All Chickens: We got to free range today!!!
Terry: The humans were sitting around a fire and sticking funny round floppy stick things in the fire. Then they ate them. (We were roasting hot dogs)
Princess: Of course, we had to investigate
Gertie: Or sit on the nest box
Terry: The Food People called me a "dog" whatever that means.
Lady: I believe a dog is one of the creatures that makes that annoying bark late at night.
Gertie: You mean... a coyote?
Lady: A coyote and the domestic dog are related, yes.
Terry: Anyway, they called me a dog because I was standing around them and waiting for them to give me food. And they did give me food! YES!!!!
Lady and Princess: They didn't give us food....
Terry: Well that's because I'm the prettiest and the most adorable and the top hen. *smug look*

Henny: That's so scary about the robber! And we're almost out of layer pellets!!
Penny: Mommy saw a real Araucana yesterday! It had no tail and little ear tufts!
Midge: Well, I like my tail!
Audrey: Midge, calm down. Araucanas are just a different breed than we are.
Basil: My speckles are starting to move over the rest of my body!
Gwynn: And my tail lacing is coming in!
Akira: I'm really dirty from sitting on broken eggs...

Selena:you guys are lucky to get ctouches! Between us we have two cell phones, one of which has photo taking capability, a laptop and a clock raidio!

Henny Penny: I wonder how they're doing! Ah!

Gwynn: "Dear Gwynnevere, Basil, Midge, Louise, Henny, Penny, Audrey, and Akira,
How are you doing? This is Ember writing, by the way. I had to force the pen away from Addy.
We miss you, of course. We lived with the feed store lady for a week. There was a very nice cochin rooster who helped us get acclimated. Some of the hens were being very mean to us, so the feed store lady put us in with some silkie pullets. They were nice, but a little dull, if you ask me. No one asked you!!! Ignore that. That was Adalynn stealing the pen. Then we got bought by a very nice lady. And that is where we are now. As for us, Adalynn, as you know, is the prettiest, awesomest, smartest, ADDY! Sorry, is the most annoying of us 4. Cora, is the sensible one, and the food person's favorite. Dot, well, Dot still can't crow properly, but he endears the food people with his quirky personality. And I am the smart one, who always well somebody's feeling important!! ADALYNN MONROE! Alright, now I'm alone. Anyways, we all miss you! Hopefully we'll meet again! I hope to send another letter around our first eggs!
